Match Preview | St. Louis CITY SC Heads South to Take on FC Dallas at Toyota Stadium

St. Louis CITY SC travels to Texas to take on FC Dallas at Toyota Stadium this Saturday. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. CST, and the match will be televised on MLS Season Pass on the Apple TV app and broadcasted by our radio partners on KYKY Y98.1 FM (English) and KXOK 102.9 FM (Spanish).

In their match last weekend, St. Louis CITY SC fell 2-1 at home to Portland Timbers. After Portland’s Evander converted a penalty, Célio Pompeu slotted home the equalizer, but the goal was short-lived after Yimmi Chará found the game-winner three minutes later.

Célio’s equalizer against Portland marked his first career goal in MLS and for CITY SC across all competitions. Célio, who came off a three-assist match against Union Omaha in the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup, became the 11th different scorer for CITY SC across all competitions and the ninth in MLS play.
